Echo Internship (pt. 3)

Two days before my departure, I installed the system on the test bed with the help of P'Sang, the Echo staff member.

Fortunately, everything worked working successfully 😍

Seed Bank

After completing the task, P'Wah taught me about the Seed Bank.

Echo has an internal system shared among all impact centers around the globe to log information about the seeds.

It was very exciting to unpack seeds from 2012 to perform a germination test!

By the way, the seed bank was very cool, so it was a nice place to hide from the sun ☀️

My time working at Echo was incredibly informative. I not only learned about the technical aspects of sensors but also gained a deep understanding of the critical role precise environmental monitoring plays, particularly in agricultural settings. The Echo community's guidance further solidified my commitment to sustainable agriculture and food security. The hands-on experiences, such as working with seedbanks and implementing a smart farm system, have helped me realize how influential your mentorship has been in aligning my career aspirations with my academic focus.
